DIMENSITY 1100 AND 67W FAST CHARGING ARE OFFICIALLY ADDED TO THE POCO X3 GT.

In Malaysia, POCO unveiled the POCO X3 GT. The device is, in reality, a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, confirming all of our earlier concerns. As a result, we have a high-end mid-range smartphone with flagship-level specs. A 6 nm MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC with 5G, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 67 W fast charging are among the highlights. The device will soon be available in additional markets, but there is no information on when it will be available globally.

POCO X3 GT:SPECIFICATIONS

The POCO X3 GT is the latest addition to the GT family, which began with the POCO F3 GT, which is also based on a Redmi rebranding. The POCO X3 GT has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The POCO X3 GT's panel is what sets it apart from other luxury smartphones. Although it's a conventional LCD, it does have a 120 Hz refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top for the front-facing camera. The device's 16 MP selfie camera is housed in a centred punch-hole.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC under the hood. This chip has several similarities to the Dimensity 1200 for those who are unfamiliar with it. It has four ARM Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency speed of up to 2.6 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz. The chip features a Mali-G78 MC9 GPU for graphical workloads and is built on TSMC's 6 nm design. The processor has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The POCO X3 GT is powered with a huge 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67 W fast charging. This technique, according to POCO, can fully charge the iPhone in just 42 minutes. This is the same speed as top phones such as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra. Xiaomi appears to be racing to catch up to Realme and Oppo by introducing fast charging to its mid-range devices. Meanwhile, premium smartphone manufacturers continue to promote flagships with 15W charging.

A 64 MP primary camera is included in the smartphone's optics. It also sports an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera. A 2 MP macro camera is also included with the gadget. In terms of software, the POCO X3 GT comes pre-installed with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5. 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6 are among the connectivity possibilities. It includes dual speakers as well as an IR Blaster. Unfortunately, no information about the debut in other markets, such as India, is available. We believe, however, that this is simply a matter of time.
