Memory Expansion in MIUI 13 will enable for an additional 3GB of RAM.

A leak concerning the impending MIUI 13 leaked online a few days ago. It showcased some of the software's primary features and enhancements over the existing MIUI 12. Memory extension was listed in the new MIUI 13 feature list, however it wasn't described before. A new leak today has thrown some insight on its use and hinted at how it would function in real-world circumstances.
The memory extension function will be comparable to the virtual RAM capability found in Oppo and Vivo smartphones, according to the report. It will give any Xiaomi handset an extra 3GB of RAM in addition to the phone's standard RAM. When the feature is enabled, the phone's storage will be used as RAM.

There will only be a toggle to turn the feature on or off, according to a screenshot from a Xiaomi phone's settings page. The feature is said to assist older Xiaomi phones with insufficient RAM.

Aside from that, the next MIUI 13 is rumoured to include some visual updates. According to rumours, the forthcoming UI would have new animations, app icons, and a floating gaming window.
